Today this age old tradition of excellence is continued on the many world famous wine farms of Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and Paarl.

Description

What makes a day in the Winelands special are the endless temptations, from sampling world acclaimed wines and cheeses, to visiting historical Cape Dutch homesteads to soaking up the visual beauty of the region. Your special day in the Winelands comes wrapped with an abundance of local knowledge that is presented in a most relaxed and enjoyable way. On this full day tour we will take you to a variety of wine farms that have been specifically chosen for their excellence and uniqueness. The itinerary allows you to experience a variety of different styles of wine at different locations along the route. The morning consists of visiting Neethlingshof Estate where you will sample five different wines which sets the standard for the rest of the day. We then head to Stellenbosch to view some historical sites, with breath-taking views over the Valley. A tasting at Boschendal Wine Estate with lunch at a recommended restaurant along the route is next.  The afternoon takes us to Rickety Bridge Winery and then to end the day on a high we do a cheese and wine tasting at Fairview Wine Estate.
