ITINERARY
Day 1
CAPE TOWN
MEET & GREET & CITY TOUR – Our staff will receive you at Cape Town International Airport. We will then do a City Tour which also serves as an introduction to the Mother City, pointing out Historical Landmarks, shopping hot spots and recommended restaurants. On arrival at your Hotel we will go over the itinerary confirming times and any personal requests.

Day 2
TABLE MOUNTAIN & ROBBEN ISLAND
TABLE MOUNTAIN & ROBBEN ISLAND TOUR – We combine two of Cape Town’s most iconic landmarks in a Full Day experience that will be both spectacular and also emotional as well! When you visit the cell that Nelson Mandela lived in for 18 years of his 27 year incarceration, tears have been known to flow. The day is divided into two parts, Table Mountain in the morning and then Robben Island in the afternoon. This is because weather can be a factor, normally the conditions are more favorable for the mountain in the mornings! Lunch will be at the V & A Waterfront.

KIRSTENBOSCH & CONSTANTIA VALLEY
KIRSTENBOSCH & CONSTANTIA – Kirstenbosch Botanical Garden is the flagship of the South African National Biodiversity Institute (SANBI) and was established in 1913. It is the largest of the country’s nine botanical gardens covering 528 hectares which includes 36 hectares of developed garden with a network of wonderful walkways. Enjoy a morning savoring the beauty and surrounds of this special place situated on the slopes of Table Mountain. The Constantia Valley is home to the oldest wine estate in South Africa and is a wonderful region to explore, with its combination of first world experiences mixed with old world charm. The grand old lady of the Cape “Groot Constantia Wine Estate” is just one of the many attractions that make for a thoroughly absorbing and enjoyable day.

Day 4
CAPE POINT & THE PENINSULA
CAPE POINT – With its breath-taking scenic beauty and rugged coastline it is one of the Cape’s most popular day Tours. You will enjoy many attractions from the African Penguins, historical towns and unique flora & fauna at the mighty Cape of Good Hope with a walk to the Cape Point Lighthouse. A stop at the most South Westerly tip of the African continent is also quite stunning. This day Tour must rank amongst the best in the world when it comes to variety. Other highlights are Baboons, coastal towns, Mountain Passes and much more. Lunch can be at the Two Oceans Restaurant or along the route as there is plenty to choose from. Day 5
CAPE WINELANDS
CAPE WINELANDS OVERLAND – Without a doubt one of the most alluring activities in Cape Town is a visit to the wine country with its vast and verdant beauty, historical wine estates and towns and world famous wines! On this day tour you will experience the art of wine making as well as learning a little about the colourful history of the region. The Cape Wine route was the first commercial wine route in the world and today it is regarded as one of the best! Lunch will be enjoyed at Boschendal Wine Estate in the form of a picnic lunch or in Franschhoek at one of their fine restaurants along the route. On day one we explore wine farms in the Franschhoek and Stellenbosch regions.

Day 6
WINELANDS & HERMANUS
CAPE WINELANDS OVERLAND – After a great breakfast at your country hotel we depart on the next leg of our Winelands adventure where we will visit one of the oldest family owned wine farms in the region with 8 year old wines available for tasting! We then travel towards the coast visiting some exquisite wine farms in the Somerset West and Helderberg region including Vergelegen which is also of historical significance and a visit to the manor house is a must! We will then take you to the seaside town of Gordon’s Bay as well as the beachfront of Strand before we start our coastal route to Hermanus where we will overnight. A light lunch of fish & chips at Gordon’s Bay Harbour is recommended!

Day 7
GREAT WHITE SHARK CAGE DIVING
GREAT WHITE SHARK DIVING OVERLAND – After a breakfast at the seaside town of Hermanus we depart from your Hotel early morning, depending on the tides, for a meeting with the worlds most feared and misunderstood predators, the “GREAT WHITE SHARK!” You will experience Shark Cage Diving at Gansbaai which is about an hour’s drive from Hermanus. The boat trip to Dyer Island and Shark Alley takes about half an hour and then you wait for the predators to arrive! If you are not keen to go into the cage then you are able to observe all the action from the deck, this is also most entertaining and exciting! After the shark experience, we sample some craft beer at the Birkenhead Breweries. We return to Hermanus in the late afternoon.

Day 8
PRIVATE GAME RESERVE
BIG FIVE SAFARI OVERLAND – We depart from Hermanus and make our way over the mountains to the Klein Karoo, travelling through the Hex River Valley to a Private Game Reserve. On arrival at around noon you will enjoy lunch in the boma after which you can relax around the pool. The evening Safari Drive is at 17h00 and you will be taken into the bush to meet the wildlife, this normally takes around two hours. Dinner is enjoyed in the main dining hall or out on the pool deck overlooking the reserve.

Day 9
PRIVATE GAME RESERVE & TULBAGH WINELANDS
BIG FIVE SAFARI & WINELANDS OVERLAND – You are woken early by your ranger for the morning game drive, which takes more or less the same amount of time as the evening drive! If you missed any of the animals the night before then this is your chance to see them. Coffee is enjoyed in the bush before you return for a wonderful breakfast. We depart at around 10h30 and follow a completely different route back to Cape Town. On the trip back we have an opportunity to sample some excellent wine with plenty of scenic beauty and mountain passes! Lunch will be at the historical town of Tulbagh. The afternoon takes us over the Bain’s Kloof mountain pass arriving in Cape Town in the late afternoon.
