This multi-day Private Tour incorporates the best of Cape Town along with the best of the Garden Route. We have included boat-based Whale Watching in this itinerary; however, it is seasonal – June to December – therefore we are able to change this activity to Great White Shark Cage Diving if your planned holiday falls outside the whale season. Shark Cage Diving is an activity that is enjoyed all year round!

This tour is a shortened version of our 15 Day Cape Town and Garden Route with Safari Tour: in fact it allows you to experience everything that the region has to offer without the extended Amakhala Safari. Although you will not have the Safari experience, this does not mean that you will not be able to see some of the big five animals as you will have an opportunity on day seven to walk with elephants at the Knysna Elephant sanctuary as well as visit a wild life centre with big cats.

Departing from Cape Town, and then returning to Cape Town, the route takes you inland to the Karoo where you will experience South Africa’s semi desert region with all its attractions and then towards the coast with its maritime climate and wonderful attractions.

This is a tour which takes you to the heart of the Garden Route and allows you to sample some of the attractions in the area. The tour is quite intense with a long drive on the first day as well as the last day. The unique thing is that you are not retracing your route as the return journey to Cape Town is along an entirely different road and the scenic beauty is always changing.
