Big 5 Safari Tour

Leopard Cub

2 Days 1 Night

You will experience an authentic African Safari on this two day one night trip from Cape Town. You are guaranteed to see at least four of the big five, the Leopard being the most elusive of the bunch.

If you want to see real African wildlife on African soil and your time is limited, then this is a great package to choose.

Day 1

We depart from Cape Town after breakfast and follow a route that takes us through the fertile HEX RIVER VALLEY and into the KAROO. It is wonderful to experience the diversity of the landscape going from lush winelands into semi desert in just a few hours. We arrive at AQUILA PRIVATE GAME RESERVE in time for lunch.

After lunch you have some time to relax around the pool or at the bush pub before departing on your first game viewing drive. These drives are hosted by a qualified game ranger who will expertly answer all your questions. The Game Drive takes around three hours.

Arriving back at the lodge after the Game Drive, you have time to change and prepare for dinner which is enjoyed in the main restaurant / boma. The accommodation is super comfortable and in keeping with African style - all the materials used are sourced locally.

Day 2

The next morning you are treated to an early morning wake-up call by your game ranger for the morning Game Drive. If you missed any animals the night before then you are pretty sure to spot them on the morning game drive.

After a really delicious breakfast we begin the return journey back to Cape Town using an entirely different route - a great tour in itself. We travel through the towns of CERES and TULBACH driving over the famous BAINS KLOOF Mountain Pass with memorable spectacular views as we journey back to CAPE TOWN.
