Garden Route 5 Day Tour

Garden Route - 10 days

Day 1

Depart Cape Town for Oudtshoorn. Along the way we pass through some historical towns and spectacular mountain passes, plenty of photo opportunities. We also visit a wine farm famous for producing world class Port & Sherry. As the scenery changes to desert type vegetation we find ourselves in Oudtshoorn where we overnight.

Day 2

After a hearty Karoo breakfast we explore the world famous Cango Caves. From there we visit an Ostrich show farm where you will learn more about these incredible birds. You are also able to have an underwater encounter with crocodiles at the Croc and Cheetah farm. We then depart for Knysna where we overnight.

Day 3

The day is spent exploring the town of Knysna. A boat trip takes you to the Featherbed museum where you will learn more about the local area - here you will also be treated to a hearty buffet lunch. In the afternoon we head towards Plettenberg Bay where we overnight.

Day 4

After breakfast we head for Storms River and the Tsitsikamma forest. Here there are a host of exciting things to do. The worlds highest Bungee Jump and Zip Lining through a rain forest are some of the attractions. The day is spent enjoying this area with all its many attractions. Lunch is at the world famous STORMS RIVER MOUTH. We spend the night at the Storms River Village.

Day 5

After breakfast we depart on our homeward journey back to CAPE TOWN. This route follows the N2 which takes us through the town of Mossel Bay where we will have lunch, visit the DIAS MUSEUM and the POST OFFICE TREE. Later on as we draw closer to the Mother City we will divert from the N2 and follow a coastal route along the Western side of False Bay before we arrive back in the city in the late afternoon after a thoroughly absorbing and exciting five days.
