Guinea Fowl House

GUINEA FOWL HOUSE is situated in the seaside town of Kommetjie (little basin) along a greenbelt with the world famous surfing spot Long Beach just a stones through away. Kommetjie is close to many of the famous attractions that are found along the Cape Peninsula, namely the Cape of Good Hope, Penguin Colony and Boulders Beach. The V&A Waterfront and Cape Town is a mere 45 minute drive away, and the Winelands just a little further.

You can enjoy wonderful walks on the mountains and along the beach, with some of the most spectacular sunsets that you will ever see. During the crayfishing season it is possible for the owners to find fresh crayfish for you to enjoy as Kommetjie is also famous for its fishing grounds.

Accommodation at Guinea Fowl House consists of three tastefully decorated, en-suite bedrooms with a wonderful indigenous garden to sit and enjoy the visiting birds. Enjoy a scrumptious farm style breakfast in the morning while listening to the wild Guinea Fowl and the crashing of the ocean.

Guinea Fowl House makes the perfect spot to use as a base from which to explore the Cape Peninsula from.
